Discover the Galicia

Many people regard the Galician region as being the “real Spain”, with it’s location on the Atlantic making it a green area with weather closer to that of northern Europe than southern Spain.

It also has some of the best beaches in the country, which rarely see the crowds that can occur on the Costas.

The area has it’s own dialect which is spoken by many and will also be taught in the majority of schools.

It shares a southern border with Portugal and also borders the regions of Asturias and Castile y Leon.

The larger cities include A Coruña, Lugo, Ourense and Vigo. Santiago de Compostela is famous world wide for it’s pilgrimage and also has some of the best restaurants in the country.
