Discover the Almeria, Costa Almeria

The Costa de Almería consists of the coastline of the province of Almeria. The coastline stretches 217 kilometers along the Mediterranean sea and includes 13 municipalities.

The landscape of the Costa de Almeria varies  from desert like areas where many of the Spaghetti westerns were filmed to areas bursting with farm crops.  The landscape provides many sporting opportunities to be enjoyed.

Almeria is the capital of the province of the same name in the northern coastal stretch of Andalusia. Although not that well known by visitors from the UK, the Costa Almeria has some of the best (and quietest) beaches in this part of Spain, far removed from the bustling Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca. Almeria is a very Spanish city, home to 200,000 people and attracting a number of mainly domestic tourists in the summer.
