Discover the Alicante, Costa Blanca North

The Marina Baixa (or Baja) contains some of the Costa Blanca’s North´s best known resorts, including Benidorm, Calpe and Altea.

The Costa Blanca North is also home to many of Spain´s best kept secrets including the towns of Javea, with its old medieval town, Arenal beach and port, Moraira, Benitachell, Denia and Benissa.

However, most of the region is inland and many people move here for a quiet rural life with good connections to Alicante airport and the coast.  The best known of these rural areas are the Jalon and Orba Valley´s with the the locally produced wines and the fresh produce they provide.

As well as its well-known night-life, the area around Benidorm is very friendly family with a number of theme parks and nature parks as well some wonderful beaches, some of them surprisingly quiet, especially out of the summer season.

The climate is of course why many people move here with over 300 days of sunshine a year and temperature that rarely drop below double figures even in the winter. There are several golf courses for players of all levels and to suit most budgets.
